The Saturn car division may be a thing of the past but, a few years back, Saturn released a concept car called the Saturn Curve. This car had many features that might have made it a contender in the sports car category that appealed to younger and hippier drivers. It featured a 2.2 liter Ecotec engine that produced over 200 horsepower. It was mated to a manual Getrag five-speed transmission.

In terms of stylistic appearance, the car had 20 inch wheels with seven large spokes. The Curve had performance tires and 14 inch brake rotors, with twin-piston front calipers and single-piston rear calipers. It had a canopy of wrap-around glass that hid the roof supports. The cars lines were meant to catch the eye of the public.

Saturn claimed the car could be built with existing powertrain components. The interior featured a curved wood center console, charcoal-colored leather, and terracotta dashboard and upholstery. rear-drive, optimal for sporty driving dynamics. The suspension is independent front and back, connected to a rigid chassis made up of full-length hydroformed frame rails, enhancing ride and handling. The Saturn Curve might have helped save the Saturn brand.
